Each stick of lemongrass is rooted or rooting and cut back for shipping. This plant is also known as citronella grass. It repels mosquitoes and makes great tea. It is indispensable in Thai cooking.
So you will be getting 12 fully rooted stalks like the stalks in the last picture. In the warmer months (March 15 though November 15th) you can expect green stalks. In the cooler months, they will be a little bit yellow (please dont complain they look "half dead" during the winter). Each one can grow into a huge plume in a few short seasons.This variety is perennial and will turn a little brown with light frost. Grown in Florida without any pesticide.
