Nepenthes Truncata is one of the largest of the tropical pitcher plants. It yields enormous, green or reddish, cylindrical pitchers with red or red-striped peristomes. It's name comes from the huge, heart-shaped (truncated) leaves that it produces. Nepenthes truncata attains some of the most massive sized pitchers of all Nepenthes! It is a favorite amongst all Nepenthes growers!

Germination Instructions:

Sow seeds a top Pure 50/50 Peat-Perlite or Pure Spahgnum Peat Natural Fiber - No Fertilizer Soil. Aim for atleast 90% humidity to germinate. Misting regularly after cotyledons emerge careful not to soak soil. You should provide 10-14hrs of sunlight daily or the equivalent in grow lights. Fertilize lightly with Maxsea ≤75ppm after pitchers emerge from seedlings.
