This is a children's book that contains eighteen short stories about "Turned-Into's" which are creatures that started out as one thing but "turned-into" something else. Examples of the stories are "Prince Tiger Swallow Tail", "The June Bug Twins" and "The Katy-Dids". Each story is preceded by a short poem and is illustrated with lovely full color illustrations, both full page and within text, by Janet Laura Scott. Book is missing its cover jacket.
