Heroes of the Halbeath Road is an affectionate, light-hearted and, on occasions, poignant look back at the lives and times of seven men who achieved legendary status with Dunfermline Athletic F.C. as players or managers and, in three instances, as both. The book reflects on the careers of Charlie Dickson, Norrie McCathie, Stevie Crawford, Jock Stein, Bert Paton, Jim Leishman and Scott Thomson while touching on the contributions of a host of other characters who have played their part in the history of the club.
