The book has writing on inside cover and first page.  The pages are in good condition and the illustrations are wonderful.  The puzzle pieces are missing unfortunately.  It's a cute vintage book.  It measures 6 3/4" x 8".  Hard cover.  A Little Golden Book.  Take a look at the pictures.
