Pair 6SN7GTA by General Electric with Side Getter, short glass envelope, copper grid posts is GE's final version with all the refinements. These sound every bit as good as the RCA 5692 Red Base at a fraction of the cost. Pleasant warmth in the midrange, nice bass and excellent detailed top end. The side mounted getter adds rigidity to the plate structure thus reducing microphonics. The tube buyers have finally realized that these quality made vintage tubes will outperform the best of the Russian and Chinese made tubes. These are a bargain now but are quickly being gobbled up. The GTA was actually developed by GE to resolve the Plate-Voltage breakdown issues and the microphonics of the original 6SN7GT which was apparent with some equipment using the 6SN7GT... This improved tube was developed without deviating from the original 6SN7GT... The GTB added controlled warm-up... So if you are having typical 6SN7GT noise and voltage issues in your particular equipment then the GTA & GTB will more than likely solve your issues...

All tubes are tested with the Audiophile in mind for SHORTS, GAS, MUTUAL CONDUCTANCE and NOISE (large tube lots are not tested for noise). All my tubes are tested thoroughly on an Amplitrex AT1000... My backup tube testers are an AVO MKiv and another Amplitrex AT1000... I WILL NOT GUARANTEE THAT MY READINGS WILL MATCH YOUR READINGS...

Warranties:
