A scaled-down iteration of Barefoot Sound's class-leading Footprint01 active studio monitor, the Footprint02 rivals its larger sibling with exemplary sound quality, expansive dynamic range, and thunderous low-frequency extension. This compact 3-way speaker houses a 1-inch, dual-ring radiator tweeter, a 4-inch aluminum-cone midrange driver, and two opposing 6.5-inch Dual-Force subwoofers, arming you with an incredible 42Hz–45kHz frequency response. This 350-watt studio monitor boasts a bi-amplified, Class D design for optimal sound, and Barefoot Audio's state-of-the-art MEME technology gives you four voice models, enabling you to reference different types of speakers right from the Footprint02. Barefoot's signature sound

Despite its compact size, the Footprint02 shares much in common with the company's larger studio monitors. The Footprint02 features an active, 3-way design with a 1-inch, dual-ring radiator tweeter and a 4-inch aluminum-cone midrange driver. Each Footprint02 also houses two opposing 6.5-inch Dual-Force subwoofers, capable of generating clean bass all the way down to 42Hz. Sweetwater engineers who've used Barefoot Sound's MicroMain and MasterStack monitors in pro studios appreciate the Footprint02. It delivers a genuine pro-studio experience, scaled down for home studios.

Bi-amped Class D design

The Barefoot Sound Footprint02 includes a 2-way DSP crossover that feeds dual Class D amplifier modules. This bi-amped design drives the speaker's subwoofers with 200 watts and the mid- and high-frequency drivers with 150 watts. Moreover, there's a passive crossover network between the midrange driver and the tweeter at 3.6kHz. The Footprint02 also boasts a cutting-edge geometric design, with the midrange driver positioned above the tweeter to maintain the speaker's acoustic focus in the center of its cabinet.

Loaded with MEME technology

With the Footprint02, you'll never need a secondary set of reference monitors. Barefoot Sound's MEME (Multi Emphasis Monitor Emulation) technology enables you to audition your mixes through spot-on models of common reference sources, such as standard consumer playback systems, vintage NS10s, and classic mix cubes. Thanks to MEME technology, you'll no longer have to wrestle with a crowded workspace, external power amplifiers, or vintage speakers with hard-to-find replacement parts to get a tried-and-true set of alternate reference monitors.
