Vintage skirt. Nearly full circle. Very good condition; we noted a couple of wear spots on the back of the waist band (Abe is looking at them in the close-up pic) and the fabric has thinned from original thickness. Original owner clearly adored this garment. It shows light wear but other than the afore-mentioned wear marks, there are no stains, holes or rips; she took good care of her wardrobe. This isn't just any bandanna print skirt, it is a skirt that is actually made from bandannas. And not just any bandanna, these are FAST COLOR Elephant bandannas. This lighter weight cotton is perfect for summer (though please treat it with care when wearing). It is a three tiered skirt with waistband. Metal zipper and button closure at waistband. First photos show skirt with a crinoline underneath. Later photos show skirt without the crin. The Elephant logo and FAST COLOR markings can be seen in a few places where the bandannas were joined. This skirt is a testament to American ingenuity and is a museum-worthy, mid-century, rockabilly, bad-girl marvel!
