Up for sale is a working Sony ICF-7601L in excellent physical condition. This model differs from the ICF-7601 in that it includes LW but has one less SW band. The item comes with all original accessories (strap and compact SW antenna), manuals, and original box. This item belonged to a relative that didn't use it much before handing it down to me. It's been stored in a plastic box in a temperate climate for many years. I put four batteries in and tested the unit to the best of my ability (disclaimer: I am not an expert in radio operation). I was able to tune in to AM and FM stations successfully, sound quality in both tone modes (news and music seemed very good), and the volume control worked as expected. The unit switches successfully to the other band modes but I didn't attempt to receive signals on those bands since they would likely need setting up the SW antenna. I believe this unit is fully functional but am selling as-is and will not accept returns.
