Sylvania Gold Brand Gold pin GB-5814A tube. AT1000 Tested, balanced 81% & 81% gm

Based on the Emissions being at the lower end of the good scale this is probably a used tube. 

 

Before testing the heater was on for at least 2 minutes and plate voltage was applied for at least on minute. 

Also checked for shorts, noise, and microphonics.

They were tested on a Amplitrex AT1000.  One of this tester's attributes is being sensitive for detecting gas .  The gas level found by the AT1000 most likely will not be measurable in most other tube tester. That is other tube testers likely will show no gas at all.

The Amplitrex was set to fixed bias mode.

The Transconductance spec for a new tube is 2200 mhos at 250 plate volts.

The AT1000 manual recommends that gas values should be below 1ma for small signal tubes.
