These handmade, Fair Trade and eco friendly leather covered journals are made by a small family business in Rajasthan, India. These journals have 125 pages of hand-made khadda paper, made from recycled cotton that has been left over from the Indian garment industry. They don't contain any chemicals as we only use unbleached cotton. The paper is made by a charity in Rajasthan that promotes women's education and their social standing in the rural villages.

Each of these leather journals are expertly stitched around the outside to give a more intrepid feel. We are a Fair Trade company and regularly visit our suppliers to ensure the highest standards are met.  The leather has been tanned by our suppliers using a mixture of love, contemporary and traditional skills. The embossing has been expertly created using small individual handmade tools so each journal is unique. Due to the nature of these leather journals the embossed pattern might not be the same as on the image. The pages have been bound by hand so they are strong and perfect for travelling.

Due to the fact that these products are individual, rustic and handmade, the colour and designs may slightly vary but loveliness comes as standard.
