UPA63H Grade L is an original NEC NOS low noise dual JFET.
This particular version is the L grade, which is quite rare and considered the best grade in terms of Idss (drain current at zero gate voltage) and noise characteristics. It was commonly used in vintage equipment such as the Kenwood KA-9100 amplifier and  phono preamps.

The price mentioned is for a single piece. If you purchase more than one, shipping can be combined.
These JFETs were acquired from a Japanese stock specifically for a restoration project. They are now being sold for anyone who requires them.

Finding a comprehensive datasheet for this exact JFET IC can be challenging. However, I have included one from a Japanese manual as well as another from a similar UPA68H JFET to demonstrate the different grades. Additionally, there are pictures from the Kenwood manual for reference. While these resources should provide useful information, it is recommended to conduct your own research. Note that Leg 4 is connected to the substrate of the crystal.

Please be aware that I do not possess specialized equipment for precise measurements. I can only test the JFETs using a transistor tester. The displayed Idss value is obtained from one randomly selected IC. I have checked all the JFETs, and they fall within the specified range for Idss, although there may be slight variations in the current values.

Considering the age of these devices and the fact that I am not a dealer or manufacturer, nor do I possess professional equipment, I cannot guarantee specific parameters. The JFETs are sold "as is" with the best intentions.
