SUMMARY:
A very nice condition Vintage  Swiss   AS 1123 calibre  Gents Wrist Watch  ca. 1955

The watch is in full working order, recently cleaned and serviced and keeping good time  with a two year mechanical warranty. 

THE DIAL: 95% mint, the satin silver  dial with black Arabic numerals and in bright condition, with light patination to edge hidden by the bezel

. The dial with  blue steel  hands and  seconds hand. Diameter is 24 mm. The crystal is also in excellent condition.  

THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with  three quarter plate and a Bosely regulator, and blue steel screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with hairspring and  lever escapement, 15 jewels and stamped AS 1123

THE CASE: 90% mint, the chrome plated nickel case measures an impressive 33 mm and 40 mm to end of lugs. The two piece case in good  condition, and rear cover closes nice and tightly, number 170970. With wear to ends of front lugs as normal.

The pictures show minor reflections and various dark marks, these are an artefact from the lighting and are not present in the watch case. This is a very fine  period antique in simply stunning condition, which is a very rare collectable item or a possible investment for the future or of course a fine gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding etc.
