First published in 1962, this is the third printing of 1963

An illustrated catalogue of the art works from the Museum of Versailles in France, loaned for exhibition to the USA in the early 1960s, organised by The Art Institute of Chicago.  The catalogue includes commentary on the exhibits and illustrations in black and white of several of the art works exhibited.

Vintage, pre-owned catalogue with stiff pictorial card covers.  Front cover is good, a little edge wear with light scuffs and bumps.  Rear cover, is rubbed and has some dark mottled marks and some scuffs to the joint and the bottom fore edge.  Some scuffing also to spine affecting a little of the titling.  Red end papers are good.  Internally there is a little toning to the pages and a few very small marks on the final page, but overall the pages look good and clean and the binding is still solid.

Not paginated, but there are 184 catalogue exhibit entries and 28 pages of illustrations.

Book measures approx. 7 1/2 x 10 ins.

UK return accepted if book returned in same condition as received within 30 days of receipt.  Return postage not refunded.
