The calibre 133 was launched in 1948 by Zenith, their first with automatic feature.

This is the world's first movement with direct central second

and the first to have the stem removed by a button, instead of a screw.

The production of the 133 caliber -from 1948 to 1951- was limited to 25000 movements,

much scarcer than 133.8, with 77000.

This series of movements (with 133.8 and 71) were almost under chronometre precision

and regulated amazing and consistently on several positions.
