Boho Hand Woven Guatemalan Fabric Crossbody Bags for Concerned Crafts

These are mini sized crossbody bags. When laid flat they measure approximately 7" by 5" and have a gusset for a maximum depth of 3".

These bags are made of 100% cotton fabric. The front and back are woven by hand by an artisan in Guatemala. They feature the typical Guatemalan stripe pattern with repeating bird motifs. The rest of the bag is made of plain black cotton. The tops of the bags close with both hook and loop tape and zipper closures. The front has 2 additional zipper pockets. The bags have a plain black cotton strap with 2 D rings for adjust-ability(they can be worn as either a crossbody or a belt pouch). The bags are lightly padded with squishy foam and have a white lining. These bags come in a wide variety of colors; the photos show the specific assortment of colors in this lot. This listing is for one bright blue bag. They have patterns in a variety of bright colors plus tan, black, and white.

These bags are new old stock. They have never been worn, but have been in storage for 20 years. The photos are an example of the style-- not the actual bag you will receive. The bag you receive will be very similar but, because they are handmade, may have slightly different secondary colors and placement of patterns.

Concerned Crafts was a non-profit organization that operated in the 90s with the mission of providing charities with goods for fund raising while allowing disadvantaged artisans to become self-sustaining. Goods were purchased by Concerned Crafts for living wages from artisans in Guatemala, India, Kenya, and Pakistan. These items are old stock from before Concerned Crafts ceased operations.
