First published in 1956 this is the fifteenth title in Enid Blyton's ever popular Famous Five series.

As with all Ms Blyton's original Famous Five books the dust jacket and book are beautifully illustrated by Eileen Soper.

The unclipped dust jacket is quite clean and complete front and back with some small tears. The spine is a little grubby.

The book itself is clean, tight and square with sharp corners.

The front board and spine are unmarked but the rear board has a few paint sprinkles.

The front end papers have some age browning.

The pages have slight foxing at the edges but are otherwise clean and undamaged with no dog ears.

There is no inscription or other writing.

Please study the images to familiarise yourself with the points I have highlighted.

All together a decent example of this title competitively priced for a First Edition.
