Description

Hi, and thanks for checking another MainForce listing! I am in the process of selling a large collection of high quality dollar pocket watches; the owner of them bought the best examples of these watches he could find when he purchased them. This type of watch was made to last a year or so, but decades later, it's looking good and running strong! Regarding this watch, he likes to say, "Look at the face, and look at the case, and you be the judge!" He would also like to say that this watch has aged better than he has!! Buy it when you can find it in this condition- you'll be glad you did!

Here we have a nice example of a Westclox Monitor, more rare than the Pocket Bens of this era.

Face: white with no noticeable defects. Hands are an attactive blue- very nice!
Case: chrome with wear consistent with use. There is a ding on the bottom of the case between 7 and 8, and there are some pocket indentations visible on the back cover. Bow is not very tight, but does not flop right over when handled.
Crystal: clear. Fingernail tap indicates that it is most likely glass, probably original.
Movement: winds, sets, runs as it should and keeps reasonably good time. Dated 2/5/26.

Please note that this is a vintage item that is being sold as-is with no guarantee or warranty implied or expressed. No returns are being offered. A very nice dollar watch to add to your collection!

Buyer to pay all shipping costs. Items that are not paid for will relisted or sold to the next highest bidder. I ship via the United States Postal Service. I strive to take careful photos and pack my items with care. I am happy to say that none of my customers have asked for a return/refund due to a mistake in a listing.

Special note to Canadian bidders- Please do not ask me to mark your item as a gift or to undervalue the item on the customs form.

Thanks!
