Up for auction is a vintage set of Pfaltzgraff soup / cereal/ salad bowls in pattern “Yorktowne.”  Pfaltzgraff was inspired from early American salt glazed pottery and was introduced in 1967to honor the town of York, Pennsylvania. With its distinctive smooth light gray glaze and deep blue hand-applied art, this remains a classic and one of the most desirable patterns.”

The bowls are in very good used condition with no chips or cracks (see photos).  One bowl has what looks to me to be a scratch on the inside, it does not show on the outside. They are embossed with Pfaltzgraff on the bottom, but it is not very distinct.

They are approximately 6 inches diameter and 2 inches deep.
