All believed to belong to a bandsman of the 4th Middlesex West London Rifles and passed through generations.  Passed to my wife's family 30 years ago.  Remained unplayed in living memory.  Also included is 2 small folders of music, both printed and hand written one dated 2/10/90 (1890).

Four Picolos:

#1 Approximate length 378mm. Complete  2 cracks that appear to be surface. Unbranded.
#2 Approximate length 372mm.  Complete 1 crack. Unbranded
#3 Approximate length 307mm. Complete, has a split either side of the head section that has 2 antique repairs of cord binding with varnish coating, branded J. Thib Quill ly, London.
#4 Approximate length 256mm. Complete with crack to the head section. Branded Dan Godfrey Sons, London (& not visible).  Also stamped Rugby Club on both sections.

Also included is an incomplete piccolo branded Potter, Charing Cross Road, London. An incomplete descant recorder by Dolmetsch International as well as an unidentified section of possibly pipe chanter.

Also included a collection of bandsman's music in 2 small folders for piccolo, some  hand written and others printed.  Hand written performance lists on scraps of paper, now referred to as a "set list".

Strangely included is a hand written scripts for 2 short skits "Cut Price Court" and "The Parson & The Squire" in pencil on scrap paper.  Not sure if the line " I got so gay and abandoned I went home in a smoking compartment" would pass today.

Thank you and good luck.
