A scarce, limited production and exceptionally pretty piece from the Isle of Wight Studio of Michael Harris in the 'Elizabethan Tapestry' design.

The bottle has a heavy covering of gold leaf/foil in a foliate style design, representing a typical Elizabethan tapestry.

This original range was designed by Jonathan Harris and was sporadically produced from 1990 to 1991.

It is 9.5 cm tall with stopper and 6.0 cm diameter.

The Isle of Wight Glass Museum website has examples of the same design of perfume bottle.

 

The base is flat polished and bears the 1990's square gold label.

The condition of both the bottle and stopper is excellent with no issues.
