Pencils by David Ross and inks by Bob Smith. Published in 1985 by DC Comics.

William Shatner signed the page per the prior seller of this page who included the certificate of authenticity that can be seen in one of the pictures included here. The COA will be included with the art.

This issue told the tale of Captain Pike transferring command of the U.S.S. Enterprise to James T. Kirk.

The word balloons were pasted to the board and nearly all of them have detached and become lost over the last almost-40 years. This explains the glue residue on the page where the balloons used to exist. Please be aware that the word balloons that remain on the page are ready to fall off at any time.

An image of the published page and cover are included here for reference only. The actual comic book is not included with this auction.

The art will be very well packed for shipping. No tubes!

Combined U.S. domestic shipping is available if you win multiple lots. Just let me know before you pay that you want combined shipping so I can send to you a combined invoice for payment. I have multiple pieces of original comic book art for sale on eBay.

Please note that combined shipping is NOT available for international orders. This is not my fault - eBay’s international shipping program won’t allow sellers in the United States to combine international auction wins. Sorry!
