This is a lovely example of the sweet pea footed baluster vase as pictured on page 128 of Mark Hills book. As this range was expensive to produce, despite its appeal, it was costly to buy in comparison to the other pieces and did not sell as well as expected. It, therefore, was quickly withdrawn and is now one of the least common of the Isle of Wight vases available. Timothy Harris has certainly managed to capture the colours of these delightful flowers so well. Imagine a bunch of them displayed within, charming! It measures 10.5 cm tall, 6.5 cm across the rim, and 4.5 cm across the base. It is in very good condition, being free from chips, cracks, and scratches, and would make a great addition to any collection of Isle of Wight Glass. Thanks for looking!
