Interesting copy of this book. This particular edition is rare, and it seems as if the previous owner had done some inscription work and pasting in of various paraphernalia that must have interested him. There is a date on one of the inscriptions from 1938.

I am not sure what these inscriptions say because the script is not easy for me to read.

If you collect Walt Whitman books, this is definitely one that might interest you, as it has held personal significance to the previous owner, and some care was put into the way that the book now appears.

Not moldy and not musty. The binding is sound and all pages are holding, but it is a bit worn.
