Why do I need a VCR?: 

RECORD: A VCR is a great recording device to record shows to view another time. 

PLAY: A VCR is also necessary to play and watch VHS tapes, which many of us have collections of old favorites. 

CHILDREN: Also, VCRs are easy to operate and are excellent for children to operate and pop in their favorite movie. 

CONVERT VHS: Lastly, if you have home movies on tape, a VCR will be necessary to convert those old tapes to digital format such as DVD, you can purchase a kit to use with the VCR inexpensively to convert your VHS tapes. 

REPLACE: Replace a broken VCR or add another to your home.
