By the end of 1957, Nysa N-57 were assembled at ZBNS. Their engine, due to the possible overload of the front axle, was displaced and pressed into the passenger compartment, occupying virtually all of the space between the driver's and passenger's seats. In addition, due to the unsatisfactory insulation of the bonnet, the unit was a constant source of noise and odors. Body Nysa N-57 was a metal frame made of rectangular cross-section pipes, sheathed with sheet steel 0.8 mm thick. All the windows were flat glass.

Due to technological features (long-walled welded frame, body on pipe frame, etc.), the first cars were quite heavy - their own weight exceeded 1.5 tons, and the total was no more than 2250 kg. As a result, the payload is only 750 kg, of which 100 kg per possible luggage. To a trunk of 0.7 m³, wide open doors opened to the left side.

The capacity of minibuses was 10 people, along with the driver. The seats were made of sponge rubber. The salon was heated and had a good ventilation. In general, Nysa fully corresponded to the existing in those years ideas about comfort.

Weak place of the car - the engine from the Warszawa M-20, with a capacity of only 50 hp, due to which the maximum speed barely reached 90 km / h. However, the movement with high speed was dangerous: because of the high center of mass, relatively narrow track and imperfect suspension, the minibus was unstable, heavily rolled. Probably because of this, or because the country needed small wagons, the issue of minibuses was temporarily postponed. More or less sustainable production of Nysa cars began with vans.
