Moskvich-2139 (Arbat) is an experienced seven-seater with a minivan. The beginning of the development of this car belongs to 1987, and in the metal the only prototype was embodied in 1991. The internal units were completely borrowed from the Moskvich-2141 model. The drive of the car is front.
The car received a transforming saloon with turning front seats with adjustable length of pillows, a multifunction steering wheel, an electronic combination of instruments. Production of minivans was planned in the city of Sukhinichi, Kaluga region, at the plant of automatic lines, which was a part of the "Moskvich" production association.
The prototype minivan on the basis of "Moskvich-2141" with plastic facial panels of the body, attached to the steel frame, was created as a concept car. However, the production plans for the minivan did exist. About the car in the early 1990's widely written in the press.
