VAZ-2802 is a Soviet experimental model of an electric vehicle intended for transporting small consignments of goods.
By 1984, 2 modifications of the electric vehicle were developed, work on which was carried out in parallel.
VAZ 2802-01
Onboard modification with single cabin. The load-bearing parts and the cab of the electric vehicle were made of aluminum. The payload was 450 kg, the range of travel at 40 km / h - 130 km. Acceleration time to 60 km / h - 15 sec.
VAZ 2802-02
Wagon wagon configuration. The cabin is double with a large area of glazing. The body is fiberglass, the cargo container is easily removable and fastened to the frame with four latches. The frame was originally made of steel, because of which the load-carrying capacity of the model was limited to 200 kg, after using in the load-bearing structures of aluminum profiles, the electric vehicle's own weight decreased, and the load-carrying capacity reached 500 kg. The engine arrangement is front, the driving wheels are rear. The power reserve (according to different data): at 40 km / h - 120 km, with the urban cycle - 78 km. The batteries are nickel-zinc, with a total mass of 423 kg.
