Żuk ("Beetle") is a family of Polish commercial cars manufactured at the FSC (Fabryka Samochodow Ciężarowych) in 1958-1998.
Conditionally, there were two generations - until 1973 and after. Lublin trucks were equipped with gasoline engines M-20 (R4, 2.1 l, 50 hp) and S-21 (R4, 2.1 l, 70 hp), 4C90 diesel engines (R4, 2.4 l , 70 pp.). Similarly to Nysa, gasoline engines, transmission, suspension (with minor changes to the type of other springs and tires) and the rest of the assemblies were taken from cars in Warszawa.
Among the numerous modifications of a pickup truck, a van, an on-board truck, a freight wagon van, an on-board truck with a twin cabin, a minibus. Cars had an intricate system of designation: model numbers were obtained in design, not manufacturing.
Significant volumes were exported. They also gathered in Egypt and Russia.
The name "Beetle" came up with the designer Julian Kamiński through the striped colors of the first cars.
Among the developers are Stanisław Tański, Roman Skwarek, Julian Kamiński.
