Offered is a striking rare vintage ceramic lidded vase style electrified table lamp in a paisley print transfer pattern. The ceramic body is pentagonally shaped with gold gilding and rests on a carved Asian style hardwood circular base. The body was made in England and would have been made by Royal Winton (lamp not dissasembled to determine if there is a maker's mark on the underside). There is a hole in the base for the lamp cord to exit (this was not used when the lamp was wired, the cord was simply routed out from under the footed wooden base). The lamp measures approx. 13" in height to the top of the ceramic lid, 16 3/4" to the top of the bulb socket and 24 3/4" to the top of the shade finial; maximum width of the lamp body is 6". The lamp cord extends approx. 5' from the base.

The lamp is in very good estate condition with no cracks, chips, or hairlines to the ceramic body. The wooden base is also in good condition The lamp is in working order and the bulb socket, on/off switch and lamp cord appear to be in good condition (although you should have this checked out by a professional if you have any any concerns). The lamp does not come with a lamp shade.
