C. J. Andersson was a Swedish-English amateur naturalist who accompanied Sir Francis Galton on his travels to South Africa. Sir Galton returned home, but Andersson remained in the area to conduct further research of life in South Africa at the time, reaching so far as Okavango and the Cunene.
