These are the first British Editions.  Volume 1, third edition, 1950.  Volume 2, second edition, 1950 (see photos for copyright info).

Clean and unmarked.  Small stains on the top and bottom edges of the text block with an ankh cross drawn in pen on Volume 2.  Minor crack to binding between pp. 222/223 in Volume I, but holding together.  Slight general tanning/aging.  Nice looking set.
