An industry standard gets even better! The 5000 Series Bass Drum Pedals established DW's reputation for innovation and quality. But because innovation is part of their DNA at Drum Workshop, they thought it was time to engineer some major improvements into their most successful pedals.

The most notable improvement is the toe clamp; the 5000 needed more gripping strength, providing a stronger connection between the drummer and the kick drum. So, DW developed the Tri-Pivot Toe Clamp (U.S. Patent No. 8330032). Three independent 360-degree, rotating rubber pads firmly pinch almost any diameter and thickness bass drum counter hoop from the top and the bottom, with zero slippage. Add to that a new textured rubber grip pad on the base plate and we think you'll agree that there’s never been a better system for attaching a pedal to a bass drum.

To improve the smoothness and feel of the 5000, DW added a Dual Bearing Spring Rocker, making the 5000 quicker and more responsive than ever.

Finally, DW added the dual-chain Accelerator drive system; with an eccentric motion that creates an indirect relationship between the sprocket and the footboard, shortening the length of the stroke, and increasing velocity and sensitivity.

Featuring a host of refinements and upgrades, the legendary 5000 Series Bass Drum Pedals still feature aluminum hex shafts, pedal plates, and linkages, the patented Delta Ball-Bearing Hinge, and the versatile Two-Way Beater.

In addition, the 5002 double pedals incorporate the patented Single Post Casting design. This allows you to place the auxiliary bass pedal closer to your hi-hat pedal, letting you move your foot more quickly and easily between them, or even play them simultaneously.

RETURNS:

The buyer is responsible for return shipping of unwanted items. Returns on eligible items may be offered within 30 days of the date the customer's order was received. Items must include all original packaging and be in the same condition as when the item was received. Items missing packaging or parts may be subject to a restocking fee. Ted Brown Music reserves the right to refuse any return if it appears the item has been damaged or used.

We do not accept returns on CDs, DVDs, software, in-ear monitors, reeds, mouthpieces, harmonicas, vintage or consignment items. Some old stock products may be listed as “non-returnable”. Please read the listing carefully before placing a bid.

WARRANTY:

All NEW items carry the original warranty issued by the manufacturer. All DEMO and USED items carry a 30-day warranty through Ted Brown Music, unless otherwise noted. Vintage items carry no warranty.

If your item requires a warranty return AFTER the 30-day return window, please contact the manufacturer directly for further assistance.

Most items will be shipped via the lowest priced method/carrier unless otherwise noted. If you would like to upgrade to a faster shipping method, please contact Ted Brown Music for additional price and details. 

Once items leave our warehouse, the carrier accepts responsibility for the item's safety and delivery. Ted Brown Music is not liable for any damage that occurs during shipping. Customers are asked to please handle all shipping claims through the appropriate channels with the carrier responsible for delivery.
