Listed is a common valve guide for small block Ford, FE, and 429 aluminum cylinder heads. These are designed to be honed for an absolute precision finish and seal on 5/16” valves.

These are being sold as overstock and are made from the highest quality of a bronze proprietary blend, that is using some of the highest performance applications in the Ford market. The exhaust guide has a 1/8” recess in the bottom to assist and stop the valve guide from clamping on the exhaust valve in extreme temperatures (A long standing trick in the automotive performance industry). We have 50 of these sets, but they will not last long at this price!

One of the most common questions we get on these valve guides are: can these guides be used with 11/16” valves? These guides can be machine all the way up to 3/8”, so if you wish to bore them to the size of your application you are definitely able to do so with these valve guides.
