This is a very unique piece. The pictures in the listing are the same item, the first set of photos is taken with a camera flash and the second is taken without to show the vast difference lighting makes for this piece.

There appears to be an imperfection or scratch in the finish. The finish is not glossy, but rather a rougher textured finish.
