the dust jacket is a bit tattered and there's a nasty smudge on, and a dent to, the exposed page ends, otherwise the pages themselves are overall pretty clean, unmarked, free of dog ears and tears. there is a small stain on the first page that slowly disappears over the following 20 pages. the front cover is no longer glued tightly to the first page, however the binding is still strong with no breaks or loose pages.
