• Legendary Leitz Tiltall tripod, originally designed by the Marchioni brothers in New York, after WWII, eventually bought (as a design) by Leitz New York / Leitz Inc. for production in the USA. UK sightings are far less common
• Working condition with cosmetic signs of use
• Top section of the head has some play to it (when not tightened), the two crosshead screws that attach to the centre part seem unable to tighten, perhaps the threads are stripped, perhaps the screws have been replaced with non-original parts?
• When the screw arm is tightened, it holds solidly
• 3-Way Head works normally otherwise
• All leg fittings work as they should
• Feet can be screwed to present spikes or rubber feet, as chosen
• Good solid tripod for Leica or other cameras, including medium format
