This Sigma lens that is great for close up and macro photography as well as "normal lens" distance photography.  Focus is clean and quick.  IMPORTANT NOTE:  This lens is an older model and it works on some of my EF bodies and not on others.   Here is what happens on some bodies:  it gives a message that the lens is not communicating with the body and it says to clean the contacts.  Even when the contacts are cleaned, the lens will not talk to certain bodies.  I think it is a firmware issue on this lens model.  I respectfully request that you only buy this lens if you are familiar with which bodies it is compatible with.    I am identifying this issue because I cannot take a return on the lens if this issue occurs because I cannot afford to ship it out and back etc.  If you are familiar with this lens and that characteristic, it will be a lot of lens for the money.   Comes with front and rear caps.  Thanks!
