Make a bold statement with this large Mens 18k two tone gold over 925 SS.  This ring will get noticed as it's heavy and weighs just under 15 grams.  Features nearly 1 Ct. AAA Cubic Zirconia's that sparkles just like real diamonds and are each prong set, not glued.  The band is designed for comfort and will not give the feeling like the ring is cutting into your finger the way cheaper rings made of precious metals do.

There is slight scratch to outer band but it is towards the back and you really, really have to look for it, you may not see it actually but rubbing your finger across the band you can feel it, this is picture #6 and I magnified it so you could see it.  Due to it's heavy 18k gold plating process this ring should last you for years with proper care.

As with all fine jewelry avoid exposing it to excess water, detergents or alcohol and when you are not wearing it it's suggested storing it in air tight baggie because even vermeil rings can be subject to some tarnishing when not stored properly.  Ring is stamped 925. Adding this ring when going out no one will not be able to tell you spent thousands of dollars on this fine piece.

Since I no longer have the original packaging this ring will be sent in a resealable baggie suited for storage between usage.  I am amazed at the prices being asked for gold plated rings over jewelers brass that will last only a few months at best or the way they are listed to deceive people into thinking they may be buying solid gold.  Vermeil is a heavy plating of gold generally around 2.5 to 5 microns over precious 925 Sterling.

I have explained everything to the best of my ability here but feel free to ask any questions you may have prior to purchase.  Priced right as ebay is suggesting a a median selling price of $406.00.

  1. Composition:

    • Base Metal: Vermeil starts with a base of sterling silver (92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals).
    • Gold Layer: A substantial layer of gold (usually 10K, 14K, or 18K) is plated over the silver base.
  2. Thickness:

    • Vermeil requires a minimum gold plating thickness of 2.5 microns (approximately 0.0000984 inches).
    • This thickness ensures durability and prevents rapid wear.
  3. Appearance and Value:

    • Vermeil jewelry looks luxurious, resembling solid gold.
    • Its value lies in the generous gold layer, which provides both aesthetics and longevity.
  4. Care:

    • Vermeil pieces should be treated gently to maintain the gold layer.
    • Avoid harsh chemicals, excessive friction, and prolonged exposure to water.

In summary, vermeil offers the elegance of gold without the hefty price tag, making it a popular choice for fine jewelry.
