This 1980 Marlin is in Beautiful condition.  The 35mm gold plated case shows only light wear, and no brassing is evident.

The crystal is in good shape, with no chips, cracks or crazing.  There are some light scratches.

The dial is outstanding. I love how old Timex dials age:  what started out as black as evolved, with ultraviolet exposure and time, into a deep purply blue with hints of relish brown.

The movement is the tried and true Timex M24.  It wants to run, will run for short periods of time before stopping. A simple cleaning should remedy this, but to be clear, the watch is not running steadily and keeping time at the moment.

This Timex comes on a new leather strap.
