This is an original NOS Data plate  for the M37 3/4 ton military truck. This is for the M42 command package or kit.  I am not very familiar with the M37 kits but according to the plate it is a unit with the cargo bed used as an officers command vehicle. I am sure it was fitted with some radios and other little features.  This is an original plate that was found military surplus. It is 4" wide and 1 3/4 inches tall. It is all aluminium construction with a dark brown or bronze color where the printing is.  I don't know the location of these on the truck.  QTM Parts
