In perfect condition, this authentic 1940's vintage skirt suit is a gem! The only tag is the one shown, stating it has an original US patent. I included photos of the structure of the garment and how it was made to help vintage hunters authenticate this beautiful 2 piece suit. The triangle pockets are so unique! I sized this as a 6, because there is not a tag including information about sizing.

The skirt is an A-line full to midi length style. It zips in the back and fastens at the top of the zipper with a transparent yellow button. 

The jacket buttons up the front with shimmery light brown/grey buttons, as well as buttons up on the inside (included photo of the inside buttons). Two adorable triangle pockets sit just above the breast. There is a rounded collar with a very modest v-neck line. 


The measurements are as follows:

Jacket: 16" across at shoulders. 19" armpit to armpit. 24" sleeve length. 22" jacket length (from middle of shoulder to bottom hem of jacket)

Skirt: 13" across at waist laid flat (26" around, which is a modern day size 6). 30" long.
