JIMMY BARNES: 30:30 Hindsight (2CD) Special Edition It's the album of his career - literally. To celebrate 30 years as a solo artist, Jimmy Barnes has re-visited some of his biggest hits, collaborating with his favourite artists including Keith Urban, The Living End, Bernard Fanning, Shihad, Tina Arena, 'Little' Steven Van Zandt, Baby Animals and Jon Stevens among many others. And the results have been remarkable! With 30:30 Hindsight heading close to Platinum sales, Jimmy has been nominated for Best Rock Album in the 2014 ARIA Awards to be held in Sydney on Wednesday 26 November. Jimmy presented two ARIA Artisan Awards for Producer Of The Year and Engineer Of The Year at last week's ARIA nominations event at the NSW Art Gallery. Across the pond, 30:30 Hindsight will be released in the UK and Europe on Monday 27 October, with Lay Down Your Guns moving up to A List rotation on Planet Rock UK - Britain's No.1 rock station. The 30:30 Hindsight tour begins on Friday 17 October in Sydney and continues throughout Australia for the remainder of the year. "We've actually kicked some new life into the songs," Jimmy says. "I think when people hear this new record, they will get a sense that these are very modern takes on these songs. They sound fresh and they sound new and they sound alive". This deluxe 2 disc edition 30 track audio version contains 17 new recordings and is complemented by another 13 classic Jimmy Barnes hits spanning his amazing solo career.
