Use and Maintenance:

1. In winter, in order to prevent the core from rupturing due to freezing, such as long-term parking or indirect parking, the water tank cover and drain switch should be released to release all the water.

2. The effective environment of the spare radiator should be kept ventilated and dry.

3. Depending on the actual situation, the user should completely clean the core of the radiator within 1 to 3 months. When cleaning, rinse with clean water along the reverse side of the air inlet. Regular and complete cleaning can prevent the core of the radiator from being blocked by dirt, which will affect the heat dissipation performance and affect the service life of the radiator.

4. The water level gauge should be cleaned every 3 months or depending on the actual situation; all parts are removed and cleaned with warm water and non-corrosive detergent.

How to clean the Radiator?

1. Open and secure the engine cover firmly to avoid accidental sliding. Then, use a nylon brush and soapy water to gently wipe the dead insects and debris collected on the water tank grille.

2. Be sure to scrub in the direction of the water tank fins, do not scrub in the opposite direction, because the metal is fragile and easy to bend and deform. After cleaning the grille, draw a gentle stream of water from the hose above the grille to ensure that all debris has been completely removed

Replacement Steps:

Step 1 

Remove the wire harness clip inside the beam on the upper part of the water tank, and remove the wire harness

Step 2 

Disassemble the air filter assembly and remove the control computer

Step 3 

Remove the headlight on the right

Step 4 

Remove the fan frame assembly

Step 5 

Unscrew the drain bolt at the bottom of the water tank and collect the coolant

Step 6 

Disassemble the upper and lower water pipes

Step 7 

Remove the fixing bolts of the water tank

Step 8 

Take out the water tank at a certain angle and reinstall it in the reverse step.

Notes:

When the water temperature of the engine is high, the water pump circulates repeatedly to reduce the temperature of the engine (the water tank is composed of hollow copper pipes. The high-temperature water enters the water tank and circulates to the cylinder wall of the engine after being air-cooled) To achieve the purpose of protecting the engine, if the water temperature is too low in winter, the water circulation will be stopped at this time to avoid the engine temperature from being too low.
