MD-4 Motor Drive for the Nikon F3
Up for bids is this barely used Nikon MD-4 Motor Drive originally designed for and released with the classic F3 bodies (see my other auctions).
This ground-breaking drive changed the face of photography in that it can fire up to a staggering 6 frames per second with the rechargeable battery pack (optional) or 4 frames per second with AA penlight batteries (holder included). The unit is also capable of rewinding a 36 exposure film in about 4.5 seconds with the rechargeables and about 8 seconds with AA's.
As you can see from the photos, this specimen is in excellent cosmetic condition. The MS-3 battery holder has no corrosion. As grading cosmetics is subjective, I photographed all sides for you to make your own cosmetic assessment. Manual in good condition with some writing on the cover
The drive was attached to an F3 and seems to be operating well.
