This is a very good copy, clean, exceptionally bright, firm binding, no markings or inscriptions.  Only fault is slight wear to spine edge of volume 3 - see last photo

Churchill's history of the First World War was first published from 1923 to 1931 as The World Crisis, illustrated only with maps and charts. It was abridged, fully illustrated, and retitled as The Great War for serial publication every fortnight between September 1933 and October 1934. This three-volume edition of that fully-illustrated and abridged text followed on completion in late 1934. (A four volume edition, also published by Newnes, followed in 1935 but consists simply of the sheets from this edition bound in four volumes instead of three.
