This vintage (late 1990th– beginning of 2000th) porcelain wall flower pocket/vase is made in Gzhel and hand-painted with a traditional blue/white flower design. It has a Gzhel stamp on the back of the vase. It’s in a perfect condition, 9” H – 2.5” W.
Gzhel is a Russian style of blue and white pottery which takes its name from the village of Gzhel and surrounding area, where it has been produced since 1802.
