Bill Evans

"New Jazz Conceptions"

Product

Product

Record Grade: VG+/VG-

Side A (VG-): Track 1 is a bit crackly, although there isn't anything visible that would appear to cause it. There is scratch that is audible in track 4, but the uptempo track makes it less noticeable. Side B is VG+ and plays very well.

Cover Grade: VG+

Overall a really nice cover. Please see the pictures.

My understanding is that only a few hundred of this album even exist today. There are no completed listings on eBay recently. It's an extraordinary rarity. Please reach out directly with any questions regarding this auction.

Grading Scale

All records are visually graded under a very bright light. Will play grade on request. Please reach out if you have any specific questions regarding an auction item

NM
Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. This grade is very rarely used.

VG++
May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.

VG+
A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.

VG
Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

VG-
A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

G
Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range
