This is a vintage gold tone filigree beveled glass footed jewelry casket box. The box is about 4 x 4 x 3 1/4 ", and weighs about 15.4 oz. The box is decorated on 2 sides with metal filigree floral scrolls and has a small handle in the front. The glass is beveled on the top, front and back. There is a yellow velvet lining inside. The design of the of the box is well proportioned and attractive. On the bottom of the box there is a sticker " Made in Japan".  The box is in a very good used condition - it has a small scratch, a little discoloration on the velvet lining and a couple of spots on the metal inside.
