Vintage 1950's/1960's Handmade Judy Garland Gay Purree Square Dancing Skirt w/ Embroidered Cats - "Mewsette & Jaune-Tom" Elastic Waistband & Pocket)!!!

One of a kind in more ways than one! This unique, very colorful 1950's - 1960's (estimated) square dancing skirt (& matching top) was found in a decrepit, worn down, old barn dating back to the 1700's. Many passed by it without a second glance, while some barely even seemed to notice it. Their loss is your gain!

Measurements (laid flat):

Waist to hem: 24 inches 

Waist (not stretched): 14 inches 

Waist (at max stretch): 19 inches 

Research on this skirt has been done high and low to no avail, so I am confident in my assumption that this set is not only handmade with careful hand stitching and quality old school cotton fabric, but also, ONE OF A KIND!!!

The real show stopper here is the quirky, fun skirt with a pocket, but the matching wounded bird of a top will be included as well. The top's silhouette is quite outdated, but has so much potential to be refashioned into something beautiful! A bandu style wiggle top would be especially charming in my opinion!

Perfect for retro babes with a Cyndi Lauper or Betsey Johnson-esque air to them, tied up in a nuclear house wife bouquet!

Washing: Hand wash only. Cold to lukewarm water. Light detergent for delicates. Air Dry.
